Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse to support our client’s hospice clinical services in the Tucson area. This role is focused on providing compassionate end-of-life care, managing patient caseloads, and ensuring high-quality clinical coordination for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Management: Oversee a dedicated team of 16–18 patients and manage their individual Plans of Care (POC).

• Admissions: Facilitate the intake and admission process for new patients entering hospice service.

• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Lead and participate in Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings to ensure holistic care coordination.

• Field Support: Provide on-site clinical care across a broad coverage area, including Tucson, Oracle, San Manuel, Mammoth, Oro Valley, Saddlebrooke, Marana, Picture Rocks, and Casas Adobes.

Requirements

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum).

• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Nursing License.

• Certification: Current CPR certification.

• Screenings: Willingness to undergo required occupational health screenings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospice Experience: Previous experience in hospice or palliative care is highly preferred.

• Self-Direction: Ability to manage a mobile schedule and work effectively in a field-based environment.

Additional Information

• Travel: Mileage is reimbursed between patient visits (from the first patient to the last patient of the day).

• Work-Life Balance: This is a 40-hour per week position with no currently scheduled weekend or on-call requirements.

• Dress Code: Professional scrubs (any color except black).
