Job Summary: Pre-Operative Registered Nurses (RNs) are sought for a facility located in the area. This position involves providing exceptional pre-operative care and preparation for surgical patients. The role supports a fast-paced team environment, ensuring patient safety and adhering to best practices in perioperative nursing.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shifts per week, minimum of 36 hours weekly, with days of the week varying.
Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pre-Operative Registered Nurse; valid nursing license; location requirements; and no minimum experience stated.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pre-operative, post-operative, or post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), especially with pre/post-op or PACU environments; familiarity with a variety of surgery patients including general, colorectal, gynecological, urological, bariatric, and orthopedic procedures.
Additional Information: Candidates may be required to complete education modules prior to their first day; instructions will be provided after an offer is made. The role involves working with a diverse patient population and maintaining high standards of care in a team-oriented setting.
