• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 0645 to 1915; 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910-$2,010
• Floating: May float to other adult medical and surgical units as needed, with rare assignments to a cardiovascular unit
• Orientation: Unit-specific training provided for each area

Job Requirements

• 2-10 years of nursing experience preferred
• Active Hawaii RN license required by the start date
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Preferred certifications: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-unit acute care and clinical support environment
• Professional nursing attire and clean scrubs required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care for adult cardiac stepdown and medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient status, assess changing clinical needs, and support individualized care plans
• Float between assigned adult medical and surgical units based on patient care needs
• Use unit-based tools and systems, including EMR systems, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Deliver high-quality patient care while adapting to a variable patient ratio and changing unit needs
