**Exciting Opportunity for HI-Progressive Care RN!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Details:** - 15 bed Progressive Care Unit - 3 Step down ICU beds - 12 Telemetry beds - Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4 for Progressive Care; 1:3 for Step down ICU - **Shift Information:** - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation - No guarantee of hours - No call required - **General Job Duties:** - Provide primary nursing care - Monitor telemetry - Perform telemetry strip reading - Conduct fingerstick blood sugar tests - **Equipment Utilized:** - Meditech charting - Pyxis for medications - BIPAP machines - Continuous cardiac monitoring - **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of hospital acute care experience within the last year - Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred - Current BLS/BCLS, ACLS certifications required - PALS and NIHSS certification preferred - **Floating Requirements:** - Will float to all acute units in-house, including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER - **Dress Code:** - Scrubs - **Holiday Coverage Required:** - Yes **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
