Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Rotating weekends as needed. Patient ratios 1:4-5.

• Progressive Care Unit position in a specialized cardiac care environment
• Work with cardiovascular patients including CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, and other cardiac-related diagnoses
• 55-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
• Flexible scheduling options with 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Epic charting system experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of progressive care or stepdown experience preferred (1+ years considered)
• Cardiovascular experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required; CPI preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, cardiac drip management, central line care, and post-cardiac procedure care
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
