Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Winchester, MA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing critical care to patients in need.

As a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to established protocols and guidelines. Your expertise will be essential in managing patients who require close monitoring and specialized care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Titrate pressors as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in patient education and support.
• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• BLS-AHA certification required; ACLS-AHA and NIHSS preferred.
• Experience in Level 1 trauma preferred; if no prior travel, Level 1 trauma experience is required.
• Epic experience is required.
• Ability to float in 4-hour blocks while on shift.
• Must be separated from BILH for a minimum of 6 months to be considered (perm, per diem, contract).
• Day one pass/fail testing will be administered; Relias practice tests will be available via Relias.

This position requires a commitment to working every other weekend, with shifts scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. You will be guaranteed 72 hours biweekly, which does not include any on-call time worked.
