Job Summary: The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting. The nurse will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring high-quality care for patients with complex needs. This role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and participation in ongoing education to enhance clinical skills.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Valid RN licensure in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Provider (AHA or ARC)
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing
Additional Information: Provides care for patients with complex problems, performs bedside point of care testing, collaborates with multidisciplinary resources, and participates in performance improvement activities. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and effectively communicate within the healthcare team.
