Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Zanesville, Ohio. This position involves providing specialized patient care on a PCU with a focus on cardiac step-down patients, post-operative open-heart recovery, and occasionally ventilated patients. The RN will work a 12-hour night shift, typically every third weekend, and may be called upon to cover holidays or rare call days. The assignment begins on 09/21/2026, with the possibility of assignment modifications based on staffing needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of three (3) years cardiac step-down experience, including heart cath recovery/cardiac drips/post-op open-heart patients, and cardiac/med-surg step-down patients. Must have experience with Open-Heart procedures and Epic electronic medical records (EMR). BLS and ACLS certifications are both required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for ventilated patients, even if infrequent, and comfort providing care to ventilated patients if needed.
• Additional Information: The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract. All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission and included in the confirmation page. The start date must be identical to the one specified, and agency contracts must mirror the confirmation to avoid risks of removal from the vendor set.
• Float: Float rotation may be required when patient volume or staffing demands necessitate coverage.
