Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit nursing position available in Great Falls, Montana. The role involves providing high-quality care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients on a medical/surgical unit that does not require transfer to the intensive care unit. The nurse will deliver physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support, managing patients with various medical conditions and utilizing advanced medical equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses to demonstrate clinical leadership and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, minimum of 36 hours per week

- Required Qualifications: Current State of Montana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; 3 years of experience in Progressive Care or similar setting; ability to operate advanced medical equipment, invasive lines, chest tubes, and ventilatory support; knowledge of cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation; experience with post heart catheterization, vascular surgery patients, and medication management of IV medications including Heparin, Diltiazem, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex, Amiodarone, and Dopamine.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPNC and TNCC certifications; pediatric experience; experience with post-operative vascular surgery patients.
- Additional Information: The nurse will provide direct patient care from admission through discharge, including discharge planning, and act as a clinical leader. Responsibilities include collaborating with other healthcare professionals, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
