Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position in Anderson, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and assessment, including those with cardiac, neurological, and post-operative conditions. The PCU RN collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, 26-bed unit.

Job Details:

  • Location: Anderson, IN
  • Schedule: Night shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, graduate of an accredited nursing program, at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a medical-surgical, telemetry, or progressive care setting, and basic life support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry monitoring, IV medication administration, patient education, and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Additional Information: The RN will provide comprehensive assessments, monitor cardiac rhythms, manage IV infusions and devices such as telemetry monitors, central lines, and oxygen therapy equipment. Collaboration with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines is essential to optimize patient outcomes. Candidates should be capable of recognizing early signs of patient deterioration and responding promptly.
