Progressive Care Unit RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in North Carolina
• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience, preferably in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or comparable acute-care setting
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an on-site hospital setting
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring progressive or intermediate-level monitoring
• Perform focused and head-to-toe assessments, identify changes in condition, and promptly escalate concerns
• Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient responses
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac status, laboratory results, and other indicators of patient stability
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Coordinate care with providers, therapists, ancillary teams, patients, and families
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote patient safety throughout the care experience
