Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit role at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• PCU/stepdown unit within a Level 1 trauma center
• 13-week assignment with night shift hours (19:00-07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner OneChart EHR
• May be required to float to like units on the same campus or another campus within the city

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Additional Information

• Provide progressive/stepdown level nursing care to patients in a trauma center setting
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Candidates should reside within the facility's designated radius to qualify for the standard travel rate; local candidates outside this radius may be considered at a reduced rate
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
