Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, with responsibilities including performing nursing assessments, care planning, and patient education. The position emphasizes patient safety, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional development.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift with 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to the first shift; valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to the first shift for CIRH (Clinical Interventional Radiology Hospital) only; ICU experience required; minimum two years bedside clinical experience highly desired; location in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the ICU setting.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The RN will perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, contribute to care planning, and support discharge processes. Responsibilities include supervising ancillary staff, ensuring patient and staff safety, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role fosters a collaborative team environment and encourages professional growth through ongoing education.
