Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse Indianapolis, IN. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a 48-bed progressive cardiac care unit. The role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, highly acute environment, supporting patients with various cardiac conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-procedure recovery. Competent patient care and collaboration within a team are essential.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BSN or ADN degree; 1 year of nursing experience; successful completion of any relevant certifications or training; location in Indianapolis, Indiana
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac or progressive care nursing; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Additional Information: Nurses will support a patient ratio of 1:4 on nights, delivering care to patients with cardiac conditions such as heart failure, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, and post-operative care. The role involves adhering to hospital policies, SOPs, and participating in a team-oriented environment.
