Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced treatment, particularly those with neurological or trauma conditions. The position is suited for candidates who demonstrate strong teamwork and clinical skills in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Position Count: 1
Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); candidates without these certifications will not be considered
Unit Information:
Number of Beds: 23
Staff: 9 (including RNs and aides per shift)
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Equipment includes bedside monitors, End tidal oxygen monitoring, high flow oxygen, chronic vents, and subdural drains
EMR: Meditech
Typical Hiring Profile:
Must have telemetry step-down experience
Neuro and trauma experience are preferred or considered a plus
