**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in a Dynamic Clinical Decision Unit!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Overview:** - **Number of Beds:** 20 - **Staffing:** - Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - **Patient Ratios:** 1:5 to 1:6, depending on level of care - **Unit Type:** Inpatient overflow with mixed level of care (medical/surgical and step-down patients) - **Patient Focus:** Short-stay (<24 hours LOS) patients targeted for this unit - **Turnover Rate:** Quick patient turnover - **Equipment:** Telemetry monitoring for indicated patients, all patients hardwired to bedside monitors - **EMR System:** Cerner - **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - **Must-Have Skills:** - Telemetry competency - Progressive care experience - **Preferred Skills:** - Recent progressive care experience - **Typical Procedures:** - Focus on patient-centered care in a collaborative environment - **Personality Traits:** - Positive attitude - Patient experience focused - Kind and compassionate - Team player who works well with others - **Required Certifications:** - BLS and ACLS - **Floating Requirements:** - Travelers may need to float to other units as needed - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color/Attire: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, all white shoes - **Weekend and On-Call Shift:** - Every other weekend required - No call required - **Experience Required:** - Minimum of 2 years of RN experience **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
