Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a short term acute care facility located in a facility with Level II Trauma Center designation. The role involves providing high-quality patient care for adult and geriatric populations, with a focus on managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, as well as float responsibilities across units as needed. The position offers a nights shift schedule, with responsibilities including titration and management of cardiac drips and advanced patient monitoring.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of clinical experience in PCU or stepdown units, experience with cardiac drip management and titration, charting experience using Epic electronic medical record system, certifications in ACLS and BLS, minimum of 0 years of experience in specialty required
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, telemetry experience, community hospital experience, trauma level II experience, travel experience recommended
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required. Travelers are expected to float between units including Telemetry or Medical-Surgical floors when overstaffed.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to work every other weekend with an expected schedule every other weekend, including holiday work commitments (must work at least 3 of 5 designated holidays). Applicants should include responses regarding prior experience at any Providence facility, with details on location and dates worked. References covering one year within the last three years are required.
