Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring KY or compact RN license and two years of acute care and EPIC experience.

Details

  • Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital
  • Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
  • 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts
  • Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

  • Active KY or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
  • Minimum two years of EPIC EMR experience required
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Additional Information

  • Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
  • Provides patient and family centered education throughout stay and at discharge
  • Supervises and delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff
  • Functions as a mentor/preceptor and supports evidence-based practice
  • Participates in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives within a Practice Governance framework
