Key Responsibilities
Perform patient assessments and reassessments per policy or as warranted by patient condition, demonstrating the ability to make sound independent clinical decisions
Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care; review and revise plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions
Facilitate and evaluate patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor and preceptor to staff
Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts; comply with regulatory standards and contribute to the Practice Governance model
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Minimum of two (2) years of acute care RN experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current NIHSS certification
