Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Davenport, Iowa. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care by performing nursing assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient treatment plans. The RN supervises licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants, ensuring safety and quality throughout the care process. The assignment is for a 12-hour shift, with a duration of 8-13 weeks.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift; valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift; minimum two (2) years bedside critical care clinical experience; no formal experience minimum required for the specific position; location in Davenport, IA

• Additional Information: Performs a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, and documents all assessments and interventions accurately. Responsible for patient education, discharge planning, and supporting continuous, safe, and effective care. Participates in team activities and maintains communication with team members and management to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for supervisory duties of ancillary staff, delegating tasks appropriately, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with hospital policies. Active participation in ongoing professional development is encouraged.
