Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse (RN) position located in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and implementing individualized care plans. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety and excellent patient outcomes within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (CIRH ONLY), a minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience, and relevant certifications and education as specified.

  • Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, collaborates on patient care plans, documents all patient interactions accurately, and participates in discharge planning and patient teaching.
