Job Details

This is a travel PCU RN assignment offering competitive weekly pay and a stable night‑shift schedule. Nurses will provide high‑acuity stepdown care, manage complex patient populations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, patient‑centered care.

Shift: 7p–7a, every other weekend

Hours: 36/week

Start: 08/23/2026 End: 11/21/2026

Responsibilities

Perform ongoing assessments and reassessments per policy
Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care
Monitor and document patient response to interventions
Provide patient and family education
Delegate appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff
Support evidence‑based practice and unit quality initiatives
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes

Required Experience

2 years recent acute inpatient RN experience
Prior PCU/Stepdown experience strongly preferred
Epic charting experience required

BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NIHSS
PCU RN Skills Checklist

Core Nursing Exam

Education

Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
