Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a healthcare facility located in a hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized patient care to adult and geriatric patients with a focus on recovery and stabilization. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission), at least 1 year of recent experience in a progressive care or similar setting, current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Critical Care or Stepdown unit, familiarity with Epic electronic charting system, ventilator management skills, telemetry experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required between sister facilities nearby your contracted facility
• Additional Information:
  • Must be flexible to work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) and must request all RTO (requested time off) during submittal, as post-offer RTO requests may not be considered.
  • Candidates should include responses to whether they have previously worked at a healthcare facility as a permanent employee, travel contractor, or registry/per-diem, including location and dates worked.
  • Two references covering the past 3 years are required for compliance.
  • Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities; refusal to float may affect employment.
  • No call-in policy; candidates should not reach out directly unless for an interview scheduled through the recruiter.
