Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is sought for a position situated in a healthcare facility in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with various medical conditions, utilizing specialized knowledge and clinical skills. The RN will be responsible for ensuring safety, providing patient education, and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of Arizona or a compact RN license, BLS certification, and one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and professional certification related to the area of practice are preferred.
  • Additional Information: The RN will assess patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs; plan and implement individualized care plans; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams; document all patient interactions accurately; and participate in quality improvement activities. The role may include supervision of other staff and involves interactions with physicians, patients, families, and external healthcare contacts. The position requires physical agility, effective communication skills, and proper use of body mechanics to assist patients.
