Job Summary:
A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position is available in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a valid compact RN license. BLS certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and professional certification are preferred.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, direct patient care, documentation, and participation in quality improvement activities. The role may involve supervising staff and coordinating with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members, with a focus on delivering high-quality, safe care in a fast-paced environment.
