Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility located in the area. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with organizational policies, professional nursing standards, and clinical best practices. The RN will be accountable for delivering high-quality nursing services, utilizing specialized knowledge, judgment, and clinical skills across a variety of patient populations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Experience in a clinical setting relevant to the specialty, with a minimum of one year in an acute care hospital environment within the past 12 months, is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred. Professional certification related to cardiac, critical care, or relevant specialties is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The RN will provide direct patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and document clinical assessments and interventions accurately. The role involves interaction with patients, families, medical staff, and external contacts to ensure comprehensive care delivery. May participate in research activities, quality improvement projects, and mentoring of staff. Flexibility to float between primary campuses as needed. The position starts on 11/23/2026 and concludes on 02/20/2027.
