Description

American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN with two years of acute care and Epic experience for a night shift assignment requiring a KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or Compact)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum two years of acute care RN experience
• Minimum two years of Epic EMR experience
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Additional Information

• Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for a group of patients
• Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and serves as a mentor/preceptor
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and patient/family to support care needs
• Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
• Follows a Practice Governance framework and evidence-based practice standards
