Job Summary: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The role involves providing specialized care in a high-acuity unit, supporting patients with cardiac and geriatric needs. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a similar setting and offers an overnight shift with opportunities for additional hours.
Job Details:
Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, 2+ years of experience in a cardiac or geriatric environment, successful completion of clear screening requirements, and valid Pennsylvania fingerprinting and state police clearances prior to start
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac diagnosis and treatments such as CP, MI, Open Heart, Watchman, TAVR, Postoperative cardiac catheterization, and pacing post-op
Float: Not normally floated; may float to 1:1s depending on staffing needs
Additional Information:
Unit includes 36 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5
Equipment includes Pacer and Alines
Electronic health record system: EPIC
