Job Summary The healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Psychiatric Unit position located in BEACHWOOD, Ohio. This role involves providing mental health care to adult patients aged 18 to 99. The RN will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes compassionate care and proactive patient interaction. The position is scheduled for day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid CPR certification; must attend Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training within 30 days; 1 year of nursing experience; Ohio nursing license or equivalent; ability to recognize mental health as an illness
Preferred Qualifications: Previous psychiatric or detox experience
Additional Information: All staff are expected to work across three units as needed, with no specific unit assignment. The unit includes 24 beds with patient ratios of 1:4, utilizing electronic health records. The organization values candidates who are compassionate, unbothered by patient comments, and proactive during downtime.
