Job Title: School Psychologist Profession: Psychology Specialty: School Psychology Duration: Full-time, 180-day contract Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: Required experience in school psychology License: Valid Professional Educator License with School Psychologist Endorsement Certifications: Master’s degree in Psychology or related field Must-Have: - Valid Professional Educator License with School Psychologist Endorsement - Master's degree in Psychology, Educational Psychology, or related specialization Description: The School Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological services to students ages 3 to 21. The position supports student academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success through assessment, counseling, consultation, and collaboration with educators, families, and community agencies. Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for initial and re-evaluations of students receiving special education services. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and assist with eligibility determinations for special education services. Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs and annual review conferences. Provide individual and group counseling services to students as identified in IEPs. Consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff regarding academic, behavioral, and mental health concerns. Serve as a liaison between families, schools, and community mental health agencies. Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. Maintain accurate records, write evaluation reports, and ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements. Participate in department meetings and collaborate with district staff to improve student outcomes. Perform additional duties as assigned.
