Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and Trauma Level II experience.

Details

• Acute Care Inpatient PT unit within a Trauma Level II facility with Stroke Certification
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Schedule is Monday-Friday with 3 required weekend shifts per 6 weeks (Saturday or Sunday)
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• May be required to float to sister facilities within the state
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• CA PT license required (license pending not accepted)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care PT experience required
• Trauma Level II experience highly preferred; must be comfortable working independently in this environment if no trauma experience
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently
• 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
• Full SSN and DOB required for submission
• License required if applicable

• Facility is a 488-bed acute care hospital
• Free parking available
• Scrub color varies by department; OR scrubs provided
• Unlikely to work on major holidays but may work days surrounding them
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• First-time travelers accepted if they have acute care and trauma experience
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• RTO must be submitted at time of application; minimal additional RTO can be accommodated post-submission
• Facility does not accept candidates with Nursys or background check hits
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including dates and location
