Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Chewelah, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 3x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:00), approximately 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE). Flexible scheduling options include Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Friday. No on-call required. No weekends required. Patient ratio: 1:5-10.

Highlights:

• Work in a 23-bed critical access hospital serving a rural community with lower acuity inpatient populations
• Treat diverse diagnoses including post-operative cases, deconditioning, mobility impairments, and chronic conditions
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team including PT, OT, and SLP professionals
• Flexible schedule with Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Friday options based on facility needs
• Opportunity to float to sister facilities in the region based on census and therapist capabilities
• Epic charting system with comprehensive support services including lift teams, pharmacy, and respiratory services

Requirements:

• Valid Washington state Physical Therapy license (compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Acute care experience with adult and geriatric populations
• Proficiency in gait training, assistive devices, therapeutic exercise, and discharge planning
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
