Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring 1+ year of PT experience and a valid state license.

Details

• Home health setting covering Dayton, Brookville, Eaton, and West Alexandria
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, day shift (8:00-17:00), no weekends required though flexible scheduling allows weekend visits if desired
• Weekly productivity expectation of 7 visits per day or 35 visits per week
• Uses Home Care Home Base EMR system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience required
• Active state license required if applicable
• CPR certification required
• Experience with home exercise programs, gait training, and assistive devices preferred
• Experience with orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and neurologic patient populations preferred
• Experience with equipment such as Hoyer lifts, walkers, slings, and sliding boards preferred
• Strong time management and documentation skills required

Additional Information

• Training provided for candidates without prior Home Care Home Base experience
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, home exercise program development, and patient/family education
• Focus on safety, injury prevention, and identifying environmental barriers in the home setting
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Maximum of 14 days of requested time off allowed per contract
• Longer contract available extending through end of March
