Job Summary: Radiation Therapist (RTT) in a clinical setting, responsible for delivering radiation therapy treatments to patients. The role involves operating and managing radiation therapy equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring high-quality patient care throughout scheduled shifts.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy, Radiation Therapist State License (generic for HR purposes), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy, minimum of 1+ years of clinical experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Radiation Oncology Information Systems and software such as ARIA, EPIC, ExacTrac, Eclipse
Additional Information: Demonstrates proficient knowledge of equipment operation, troubleshooting, and safety protocols. Ability to establish effective professional relationships with physicians, management, peers, and patients. Strong customer service skills, confidentiality, and competence with departmental information systems are required.
