Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Radiation Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience License: SCRQSA license Certifications: ARRT T, BLS Must-Have: Must have experience with EPIC Description: The shift is from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, five days a week. Candidates must possess a valid ARRT T certification. A BLS certification is required. SCRQSA licensure is mandatory. Candidates must have at least one year of EPIC experience. The unit will review first-time travelers based on experience. Floating to other units may be required based on census needs. Travelers must float to units for which competencies have been documented. Modules may be required prior to commencement of employment. Travelers must have experience with adult acute care and outpatient care. Experience with various imaging systems and treatment methods is essential. The preferred charting system is Epic. Candidates should be proficient in using imaging technologies and equipment relevant to radiation therapy. Experience with diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics, is required. Ability to handle emergency cases and provide care in high-stress situations is essential.
