Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Radiation Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience required License: SCRQSA license Certifications: ARRT T, BLS Must-Have: - Certification in Radiation Therapy - Experience with EPIC Description: Shift schedule is from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. This position requires experience in the use of EPIC. Candidates must hold current ARRT T and BLS certifications. A SCRQSA license is mandatory. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates should have skills related to adult acute care and adult outpatient. Knowledge of emergency cases and radiation safety is essential. Familiarity with imaging modalities such as CT simulation is necessary. Experience with stereotactic radiosurgery and external beam therapy is a plus. The unit will consider first-time travelers based on experience. Travelers may be required to float to other units as needed. All assigned tasks must be performed competently. Candidates will engage in patient/family teaching as part of their duties. Modules and additional training may be required prior to starting the position. This position involves care for a diverse patient population including adolescents and geriatrics. Candidates are expected to demonstrate proficiency with various imaging and treatment technologies. Maintaining patient safety and dignity in care delivery is imperative.
