Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position located in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves providing radiation therapy treatments within a dedicated pediatric and adult treatment unit, supporting a multidisciplinary team with a focus on advanced therapies such as brachytherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, and external beam radiation therapies. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Position: Radiation Therapist (RTT)
- Location: Lubbock, Texas
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Qualifications: 0 years of experience, ARRT Registration, BLS certification, Texas state license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
- Experience: No previous experience required but at least 1 year preferred; experience with adult outpatient procedures, intracavity/interstitial administration, CT simulation, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and external beam therapy is advantageous
- Additional Requirements: Ability to assist with complex procedures such as electron beam therapy, gamma knife radiosurgery, and use of electronic medical records and record-and-verify systems; strong patient and family teaching skills
- Unit Details: Involves rotation among various treatment modalities including brachytherapy, SBRT, SRS, and FSRT; team-oriented environment with interdisciplinary support; supportive of treatment planning and execution with state-of-the-art equipment such as Elekta Linear Accelerators and Gamma Knife ICON
