Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Rad Therapist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday-Friday Hours per Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: AART Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. TrueBeam experience (at least 3 years). Align RT (Vision RT) (surface guidance). ARIA experience. Description: The unit treats approximately 45-55 patients per day on two linear accelerators. There is a patient ratio of two radiation therapists per machine. The staffing includes two front desk personnel, two to three RNs, five therapists, two dosimetrists, two physicists, one dietitian, one social worker, and one director. The equipment used in the unit consists of two TrueBeam linear accelerators and one GE CT simulator with an Elekta HDR documentation system. Documentation is managed through ARIA. The unit operates Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 am and concluding around 4:00-4:30 pm. There is no floating policy. Patient experience scores are approximately 95%. The unit is accredited for radiation oncology and is recognized by various organizations. Procedures performed include VMAT, SBRT, and surface guidance. The dress code includes Caribbean blue scrubs. The department features a newly installed TrueBeam, recently added just one month ago. The team is dedicated to high-quality patient care, with a strong emphasis on advanced technologies and collaborative practices.
