What You'll Need:
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy
• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required
• 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist
• BLS certification
Minimum Requirements (Client Specific)
• ARRT (T) certification required.
• LA state Radiation Therapy license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience in an oncology setting; 2 years preferred.
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam systems preferred.
• Experience performing IMRT, IGRT, DIBH, and SRS/SBRT preferred.
• Experience with treatment planning verification and patient immobilization required.

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment
• Verify treatment plans and dosage with oncology team
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy
• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records
