What You'll Need:
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
• ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification
• Valid Louisiana Radiation Therapy state license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist
• Experience with IMRT, IGRT, DIBH, and SRS/SBRT
• Experience operating Varian TrueBeam systems (two on site)
• Ability to manage a daily census of approximately 45-50 patients
Assignment Details
Additional Duties:
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with safety protocols
• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment
• Verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy
• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records
