Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Clienttion Therapist Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active License Required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - Experience with LINAC equipment - Skills in tumor localization and dosimetry procedures - Proficient in patient care and maintaining radiation safety Description: Operate LINAC equipment to deliver the prescribed and planned course of radiation therapy to patients. Assist in the use and fabrication of positioning or restraining devices. Accomplish patient set-ups, portal adjustments, and interpret prescriptions. Assist in tumor localization and dosimetry procedures. Perform CT clinical simulation procedures. Maintain close observation and supervision of patients in the treatment room. Organize simulation schedules to ensure no delays occur. Participate in the training of radiation therapy students. Capture patient charges responsibly. Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services. Maintain a demeanor that supports medical ethics. Apply appropriate patient care and recognize conditions essential for successful completion of treatment. Practice radiation safety following ALARA principles.
