Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Clienttion Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:00 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with patient ratios - Familiarity with community hospital charting systems - Experience with trauma levels I and II - Travel experience Description: The position is for a Clienttion Therapist. This role requires the ability to float between units. On-call is not required, and weekends are not mandatory. The expected patient ratio is 20 patients to 1 Clienttion Therapist. The facility is a children’s hospital and a Level II pediatric trauma center. Staffing consists of a small team that rotates among various treatment modalities and equipment. The treatments offered may include brachytherapy, external beam radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, and more. Providers are expected to assist with patient care, including those requiring restraints. The facility utilizes advanced equipment, including Elekta linear accelerators and a Gamma Knife. Candidates must be comfortable with patient and family teaching. A strong team environment is emphasized. Quality and safety accreditations guide all practices within the facility. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may impact guaranteed hours. All communication devices needed for the role will be provided by the employer.
