Pay: $2909.20 weekly

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist with a specialty in Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. Key Responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist

Deliver accurately the prescribed course of radiation therapy with minimal supervision.
Prepare the treatment room and equipment for each patient according to the prescription approved by the Radiation Oncologist.
Maintain awareness of procedures to follow in the event of an emergency during patient treatment.
Transfer patients safely to the treatment table, ensuring care for catheters, IV drips, etc.
Accurately maintain patient treatment charts and therapeutic dosages as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
Assure proper documentation of procedures in the patient's chart and in accordance with billing procedures.
Participate in and document quality assurance management activities.
Assist in dosimetry and simulation procedures and ensure proper patient positioning and equipment setup.
Notify the Radiation Oncologist of any patient complications or treatment errors immediately.

Requirements of the Radiation Therapist

Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must have New Mexico Licensure upon hire.
Two to five years of clinical experience preferred, with IMRT and LDR/HDR experience preferred.
Graduate of a Committee on Allied Health Education and accredited radiology program or equivalent.
