This position involves providing radiation therapy services in a busy outpatient and inpatient setting, primarily serving adult and geriatric patients. The role requires working with advanced equipment and adhering to clinical standards, with scheduling built around a four-week cycle.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: ARRT (Therapeutic) certification, Maine State license for Radiation Therapy, BLS certification, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
Additional Information: Orientation is 1 to 1.5 weeks, depending on experience and comfort level. No weekends or on-call responsibilities; holiday work done in rotation with other technologists. Scheduling follows a 4-week cycle, with specific shift details to be provided during the interview. The facility is a certified Level II trauma center with a busy patient volume averaging 90 patients daily across three Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators. Scrub color is flexible, provided it is professional or supplied by the facility. Parking is free.
