Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Clienttion Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: LA State License required Certifications: ARRT T, BLS required Must-Have: - First time travelers accepted - Must be comfortable being assigned to an "Emergency Team" if required Description: Please ensure your traveler is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team" where there will be an expectation to stay until after the event passes. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed for each emergency event, as impacts vary. By signing the travel contract, you accept the above and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs. You should only apply for this role if you are comfortable with the above requirements. The unit will have a staffing ratio of 1:1. Average daily census is around 80 patients. Always two therapists per machine. Hours may flex based on volumes. Team members will work with advanced equipment including Varian True Beam and Varian Trilogy. Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Preferred skills include experience with various treatment types and technologies, as well as radiation safety practices. Charting system experience is required. References will be required for clearance to start the contract. This role does not involve on-call duties and there is no float requirement.
