Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position in PALO ALTO, California. This role involves performing routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with physicians' treatment plans. The position requires working independently to deliver precise, safe procedures while maintaining excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Radiation Therapist (ARRT-RTT), BLS certification, valid California State License, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of ARIA, CT Simulation, Eclipse (Varian), Emergency Cases, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Radiation Safety, and Simulation of Treatment Sites.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in adult patient care, familiarity with Varian TrueBeam equipment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: All candidates must have uploaded Nursys verification within the last two weeks and applicable certifications with valid expiration dates. References should be obtained within the last year. Candidates must complete onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to start date.
