Certifications/Licenses:
- BLS
- Radiotherapy Technologist to support our Radiation Oncology department.
- Position is 5 x 8hrs (Monday through Friday) day shift with 0700 - 0800 start time.
- 3 years of minimum Radiation Oncology experience.
- Properly setup and align patients using various imaging techniques to delivery radiation therapy treatments as prescribed.
- Assesses patient status during direct patient interaction and makes appropriate referrals to various health care team members.
- Prepares for treatment delivery, including chart/film checks, room set-up, calculations, electronic medical record (MOSAIQ) check, treatment calendar (including programming port films etc.).
- Performs patient set-up and CT scan for radiation therapy treatment planning purposes, as needed.
- Works closely with other radiation therapists and team members to perform additional tasks, as needed.
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred.
- Must have ARRT and CA RTT license, as well as BLS cert.
