Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist in San Jose, California. This position involves delivering radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by a Radiologist or Oncologist, including patient simulations, equipment preparation, and treatment documentation. The role requires ensuring patient safety, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with medical and support staff.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT-RTT - Registered Technologist in Radiation Therapy, BLS - Basic Life Support certification, valid license/certification as specified, at least 2 years of experience in radiation therapy, and must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of modern radiation therapy equipment, patient positioning, safety and quality control principles, and billing procedures.
  • Additional Information: The primary location is in San Jose, California, with the ability to float to nearby facilities as needed. The role involves patient treatment, safety checks, equipment calibration, and documentation. Flexibility to work in both locations is required.
