Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment in an Oncology Department. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering radiation therapy treatments while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and treatment accuracy. Candidates should be comfortable working with modern radiation therapy equipment and electronic treatment management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately.
- Prepare and position patients for treatment.
- Operate radiation therapy equipment according to physician treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation.
- Monitor patients during treatment and report concerns appropriately.
- Follow radiation safety standards and departmental policies.
- Collaborate with physicians and the oncology care team.
