Radiation Therapist – Oncology (Travel Contract)

Key Responsibilities- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to oncology patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Administer radiation therapy treatments in accordance with established treatment plans and protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, documenting findings accurately in the EMR system (EPIC).
- Collaborate with oncology team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of current Radiation Therapy experience required.
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Active Iowa state license required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Taxable address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Varian TrueBeam technology preferred; training available for qualified candidates.
- Previous travel healthcare experience preferred.
